Fighting to take privacy back from authoritarian Labour
A new survey of MPs voting habits reveals that Labour's Vernon Coaker MP has toed the party line on each initiative designed to trample over people's privacy and create a surveillance state. This includes legislation to introduce trial without jury, ID cards and retention of DNA.

Gedling's Vernon Coaker has played a key part in 13 years of trampling over people's privacy under Labour. From allowing children's fingerprints to be taken at school without their parents' consent; to making us a world leader in CCTV; to wasting vast sums of taxpayers' money on giant databases that hoard our personal details, Labour's flagrant disregard for our privacy flies in the face of hard won British liberty. Only the Liberal Democrats will bring an end to the endless snooping on innocent people.
