Robert Swift Parliamentary Candidate for Gedling Constituency

Jason Stansfield has lived, worked and raised his children in Arnold. He works in IT, as well as running a property development company. Jason was a member of the Arnold Neighbourhood Watch Schemes committee, which organises and supports over 100 streets across Arnold in keeping their communities safe. He has campaigned for the Liberal Democrats since 2010. Jason likes to keep fit and has an interest in modern classic cars.

"If elected I would want to see the regeneration of Arnold Town Centre, a new Park & Ride to be considered at the Red Hill roundabout. I think some of the Arnold traffic light systems are dangerous and urgently need reform."

Robert Swift lives in Woodthorpe where he was born, raised and went to school. After leaving Arnold Hill he went to Keele University where he graduated with an MBA and was Students' Union President. Robert worked in the telecommunications industry for 15 years in London and Abu Dhabi before returning to Nottingham to start his own small business. He describes himself as a die-hard Nottingham Forest supporter and Liberal Democrat. He stood as the party's parliamentary candidate for Gedling in the 2015 general election.

"I am a diehard Nottingham Forest supporter and Liberal Democrat. I take a keen interest in national politics and recently wrote an article calling for the partnership of NHS services with social care."
